Erin Rose Lenhardt is twenty-three years old. She wrote the poetry appearing here between the ages of twelve and nineteen. Her writing has appeared in On Wings of the Wind, a poetry review; Sunny Side Down, an independent newspaper of Cary Academy; The Quest, the student body publication of Reed College; Silver Muse Workshop, an online literary publication; and The First Straw, Reed's Creative Review. In 1999 she won first prize for her short fiction piece The Open Window, and in the spring of 2004, her poems The Umbrageous Wood and Untitled 0.1 won first prize in the Mary Barnard Academy of American Poets Contest.
