Memoirs.

One last whisper about you
so I can finally declare the
words we never shared.
These are from me to you,
My last memoirs until
all things renewed are due.

We were close to being one mind,
and were not far from a body
Oh, we were real good to keep quiet.
Eagerly we ignored
the voices awake between us.
Kept on walking
(our hands holding between us)

Yes, between us,
I never told you how I felt;
I was a lion with cub's knees.
Yes, between us,
I know you wouldn't, couldn't
name the cards that you dealt.
But methinks you recall the day
I, with calculated grace,
Pocketed your, your red ace.

It was those goddamn hands
Holding between us.
I was the child And you were the coward
I was too proud and you
thought I had too much power.

The days have been quitted,
Our omissions: shelfed for good.
Now having no thoughts of you
and never having whispered an
iloveyou

I've got a lot of space to write
our story, heartbreak laughter -
It was heart breaking, but
you know, I mostly remember
my giddy laughter.
